It's amazing how much the market is beholden to "analysts' expectations".
Adairs, another in the home furnishing space, had a bit of a shocker today - reporting sales 10% down, gross profit 6% down, EBIT down 19.3%. It also still has $58 million in debt whilst Dusk is debt free. Its outlook wasn't great either.
However presumably because expectations were already low with Adairs its share price has shot up 11%.
It's amazing how much the market is beholden to "analysts'...
