On the other side of the transaction was an another big player who bought, so I don't see that it should be taken as much of a sign, one way or the other.
The only explanation that I can come up with for the current low SP, is that it factors in a downside risk to earnings. I don't share this view, and believe the market has it wrong. As you say, time will tell.
