People are throwing around numbers comparing deaths of heart disease, cancer etc to dying from COVID.
Please look beyond the number and consider the demographics. Who is more likely to be infected..health care workers dealing with the pandemic. Who is going to care for the sick when these workers become sick? Then your health care system will collapse. You can't get the plumber or cleaning staff to take up the job. We had this occur in a hospital in Melbourne where 400 staff had to go into isolation as they were a close contact with a Covid patient. If this had happened in all our hospitals, there would be very few staff to look after those admitted.

Also, when a health care worker treats someone with heart disease or cancer they do not put their own life at risk. They can't contract heart disease or cancer.

So suck it up buttercup. Six days in isolation for the benefit of fellow citizens who are putting their lives at risk every day is a small price to pay.
