    short answer is yes but you really need to read this https://www.carbonrev.com/investor-centre/dtc-qas/

    Just spoke with WBC share trading and they do have the DTC participant required and when I joked that apparently CBA didn't he said they used to but it was a pain so they stopped recently. So its looking like Commsec is a no (as per the Q&A doco) and its WBC, NAB and Interactive Brokers only
