If they lost this contract, I think you would have to re-examine the reasons for holding.
Not at all; this company has missed out on many contracts over its history and that has not stopped it from being a prolific wealth generator for its shareholders.

I have long ago learnt that trying to second-guess what others may or may not do is a bit of a waste of time, because it is so hard to do so accurately on any remotely sustainable basis. Hence, I tend to focus on valuation and I'll leave the second guessing of market behaviour on any given day/week/month/year to others, such as yourself.
