True! Also, Bro, look at Bandar Aceh. The Indo military are in there cleaning up.then again, they have been "cleaning up" for a long time. Back in '91, the military was shooting dissidents (men, women and children) and leaving the bodies lining the roads as a deterrent.
Look what took place in Timor, and Australia's reaction. Why? Oil! Right?
There has never been mention of the human rights abuses in Aceh, where I believe more have been killed than ever were in E. Timor. Why? Aha! Aceh has more oil than Timor. But it is already controlled, so Australia or anyone else is not interested. Who controls Aceh? Why, Mobil U.S., of course. And that is who the dissidents are fighting, with Indonesian military acting as police. The UN (or Australia), would never dare confront the US over its actions. The UN is a toothless tiger, its last teeth were extracted by Bush when it attacked Iraq, and the world will rue the day, because the only regress by an oppressed people now is to resort to acts of terror to achieve justice. There is now no international adjudicator to help fight repression, only terror, explosives and munitions.
