Another thought after I posted that. The Bank of Nova Skotia has been buying shares very recently. Normally a large institution like that would contact the company to see if they want to raise cash so that the insto can buy cheaper through a cr rather than pay up and chase the sp on market. They were still buying at 67c and the sp was much lower than that when the first started buying.
I think they probably would have asked, the company said no plans for a cr at this stage and the Bank of NS had to buy on market. If that's the case, I can't imagine Mithral now doing a cr any time soon. That would be a real insult to the new large shareholder.
