Wasn't it FullMoonF.. who said that the gold would probably be deeper anyway.
These samples were taken only very shallow.
Says they now intend to dig deeper as:
"The results from the 21 samples suggest that the gold bearing alluvial gravels occur below 3 feet depth..."
