Hi Delboy - the benchmark is somewhere between 2,000 and 2,500 cts, but the criteria is based on many factors, some of which are:
- grades
- diamond values
- average stone size
- overburden
- mesh size, etc
The total weight required for a ML at Lulo would be far less than the benchmark, hence our JV partners gave us the green light to apply for a ML.
The above information is based on a conversation I had with Miles around 2 years ago.
