There are heaps of smaller leases available which have not been intensively drilled due to lower prices of gold previously. At 900 an ounce what was before not economically viable is now very viable. Just look at Fortesque, low grade ore that 5 years ago you could not give away now builds Australia's wealthiest man. There was an article in the Australian noting this similar effect on gold has not happened in Australia yet eg significant expansion of gold production from older, smaller and lower grade resources yet to happen.
