Interesting development. For PSI and other knowledgeable individuals, is the overpressure and gas influx likely to reflect anything about the quality of the seal/reservoir if they're still not in Heavitree? Can overpressure be managed using strategies with the existing rig or is a bigger rig the only option? If they do need a bigger one, any guesstimates of how long to get a suitable rig for Santos? I would guess they have their own rigs they could deploy relatively quickly if they think initial signs are positive (which I'm still not clear on!).
If Santos pulled out but then CTP completed with a positive outcome, taking Santos' 70% share, that would be an interesting outcome! I bet stranger things have happened in O&G...
