Hey sewell64 suggest you check back on some past posts...sutures !!! AVR appx 40 - other (not sure which) but 600 ? I stand to be corrected.

Thanks for those explanations. A reduction in sutures, one piece design and close to normal blood flow seem to be great advances. But what about the reinforcing mesh? is it titanium and if so, does that present a problem as in mechanical valves and the requirement to be on Warfarin for life? Someone must know the answer to this.
