Rereading my post I see there could be room for some confusion.....
"It's been discussed here before although as a quick reminder to investors new to this forum, CoreValve, was bought by Medtronic for $700 million US + add ons, speculated to be just over $1 Billion US (or $1.5 Billion Aus) in 2009."
The TOTAL price for CoreValve was just over $1 Billion US, and not the add ons totalled $1 Billion US in addition to the $700 million US base price.
