It was never a be all, end all deal. BB has plenty of irons being thrown into his fire all the time, the standing he has in the mining industry in Australia and around the world is irrefutable marked by his history of mining success and company making. You my pet are not in any way in the same league.
To add, I don't care a rats even if this ESS deal does not go thru, who cares? there are plenty of deals coming across the desk as we speak, IMO.
