I've worked with 'outsourced' teams. I've left 2 companies because of it, not because my skills wasn't needed, but voluntarily because I couldn't stand people, struggling with the basics, calling themselves senior devs, passionless, turning the craft into a piece of shit, constantly breaking code that they didn't understand and not being able to fix it.

When non-technical business leaders outsource their dev team in the interest of cost, they eventually realise the little they save is not worth the opportunity cost lost in bug ridden, broken software and hire someone locally who's able to do the job.

Reading between the lines we have:
- A local ad for a fullstack lead
- A contractor who looked woefully under qualified (no DB, programming langauges, API, devops exp)
- A 3-6 month delay of a 6-9 months project
