Acquisitions are what make big companies bigger, and the integration isn't vertical - its horizontal. We could spend millions on marketing to try and get new customers and the hassle involved to come across may be a big detracting factor - or we could buy their entire business and market it differently. Dean style.

There can be many ways of looking at the announcement - but it will be a massive value add for DW8 for years to come. Give it time.

Agree, plus there's a benefit of the DW8 Board who will help direct the business to profitability, many family businesses would benefit from having good Board governance. This can also be one of the reasons family run businesses struggle to grow.
