I agree Triage ,Dolfys post deserves to be berated . Posts like that give Hotcopper a bad name . Dolphy obviously hasnt done the slightest research before posting that garbage .
The DYE Solar cells are already developed ,and are on thge verge of commercialisation as we speak .
Products have already been launched on the market from G24 and DYE are supplying dye to them .
DYE are even selling Dye and other products that is almost paying their way, even prior to major production happening .
There will be no need for hundreds of millions in capital raisings like many developing mining companies .
The income in the relative near term from the corus JV ,the potential for the glass in buildings and vehicles ,and other sales of their dye ,could amount to hundreds of millions of dollars .
This would place DYE in the Billion dollar market cap range ,and this makes their market cap look very cheap at this late stage of pending commercial production . As production milestones are met ,and new products and alliances are formed we will see Dyesol usher in a new era in sustainable clean energy .
These products will take the world by storm in the next year or two in my opinion .
Most still make the mistake of comparing the peak efficiency of Dye cells to silicon ,but dont take into account that Dye keeps generating in all weather ,early morning and afternoon light etc ,and the end result is that the energy output over a year is not that much different as the rated efficiency would suggest .
The huge advantage Dyesol has is in the substantially cheaper production costs ,and the incorporation of solar into conventional building products .
