I think Alligator River is the jewel in the crown. It could make the merged entity into another Fortescue if Uranium becomes a hot commodity. VMY was lucky to pick it up on the cheap from Cameco during the uranium bear market. It's a shame to have this upside diluted by the merger.
Saying that the merged entity is likely to attract a premium price from investors looking for a tier 1 U company.
