IMO people need to understand that while Philip Lucas may be someone with deep legal background/expertise, he's a non-executive director in Sayona. Non-executive directors are responsible for objectively looking at the plans framed by the executive team. They help with formulating and overseeing the corporate strategy by providing constructive criticism and a broader view of the external factors affecting the business. Non-executive director do not deal with day-to-day operational activities.

On the other hand, Dylan Roberts is hired to be the General Counsel (and Company Scretary). That's a full-time employee that's hired to deal with day-to-day legal and corporate secretarial activities. And if we want to be a big boy in mining, we will need our own legal counsel.

So IMO, there's no duplication of roles here. Similarly, if we have a non-executive director who has deep financial expertise in the board does not mean that we don't need a CFO.
