Definitely agree, about the us appointment’s I’d imagine the build etc would have a 3rd party client side PM for the project with an e25 US based representation for the weekly/monthly meetings and site walks. But this e25 representation would need to know the in and the outs of the project and be planning now for the completion of the project in regards to hand over and what it looks like once the build is complete. The build is one part but the testing/commissioning process is just as important and can take a long time, there needs to be a plan in place that suits e25 and not what is easiest for the builder.
Once the build funding is finalized I would hope that E25 would be looking at engaging an operations manager or such for the plant ASAP.
Would also be interested to see if they manage the day to day plant operations and labor them selves or out source this to a 3rd party.
