A resource is developed over several passes of drilling and investigation, and then for feasibility studies you need to tighten the spacing for more certainty around mineable shapes and/or pit designs. Also confirmatory drilling when revisiting a project that hasn't been drilled for a decade. Different drilling methods, labs used etc. They will likely drill holes that are specifically required for obtaining metallurgical testwork samples and others for assessment of geotechnical stability. It is not all about growing a resource. In fact, infill drilling does the opposite on occasion.
