I think a lot of the questions being asked are obvious and answerless. We should all know catchy and hotcopper (for that matter) enough by now to take any comment with caution, and pointing out common sense flaws is a waste of breath. Rather than arguing, take the positive and the negative legitimate data out of the information catchy is providing and make up your own opinion. He/she is quite amusing imo with the ups and downs, and is also quite generous with the amount of data he/she provides, regardless of its legitimacy. Go back over time and the Hotcopper SFI threads would be quite boring and motionless without it.
