EAR/MKO merger offer period closes Dec 12 so assuming the SP will get supported until then and I am right about gold finding a bottom around rates decision then we should come away better than most golds. Exactly, if EAR goes sub 10c, then POG has most likely been destroyed...and if that's the case, you might as well not buy it even then.

Italian referendum on 4th Dec (5th Dec Aussie) could provide a catalyst for POG if the country (as I expect) votes 'No'. Even though its not a Euro exit, a No vote will put that fear into the Europeans and the global markets.
