The tightness across base metal markets is exemplified by the plunging stockpiles of zinc, with inventories on the London Metal Exchange slumping to their lowest level in at least 25 years.The premium for spot zinc over three-month futures has spiked to its widest level since 1997, a condition known as backwardation which is traditionally an indicator of a supply squeeze.
Will the stars finally align for RTR? I hope so.
