Its within my threshold mostly ... for remove via mag separation ... Need ore at 0.5% for battery grade after Mag and heavy media separation ... PLS removed 70+ % of their fe via the same mag and heavy media processing in testing ... I think my best guestimate was a grade of around 1.8% could be reduced to 0.5%... But I also notice that KDR have been conservative with their numbers so reported higher that what is actually there ... the Contamination from Drill and crushing will reduce slightly also
PLS have grade up to 0.77% Fe203 but were reduced by 0.15% after contaminates drilling and crushing metal contaminates were removed. I note that all hardrock spod operations use mag separation (to my knowledge) and so the relative gain cost wise of one oer another is a furfie ...
We will need to see metallurgical results to be total certain...
Will track back and get my original posts on it in the KDR threads...
