@clooch
The beauty of EMC is that it is the ultimate feelgood stock.
It is not a Casino - no value add - and ultimately evil.
It is not Cigarettes - great fun - 'til you die - and ultimately evil.
It is WATER - very addictive stuff - everybody has got to have it - and it is GOOD.
The only thing that we fail to grasp is that the water quality is so good here (apart from that Crypto Spyridium thing in Sydney a few years back) we think it must be the same everywhere.
In the western world we turn fresh water into grey water and effluent. Nobody here wants to drink reclaimed water. In other countries they don't have such choices.
One thing we seem to be expert at is buggering up water. Anything that can turn that around has got be a winner.
You can read all kinds of articles where animals and industrial pollution enters the waterways, unchecked in China. The Capital, Beijing, on the edge of the Gobi desert has an immense population - and a way bigger thirst than their catchment can cope with. They actually have major projects to divert rivers so that they will have enough to be viable.
Anyone there with any sense drinks delivered bottled water. The stuff that comes from the tap is not so nice. I cannot say what it does to your kidneys but it sure makes a mess of a kettle. Bleck! But that is only the capital.
Pick a river, any river, Alu, Yellow, Yangtze, Mekong. I would not even swim in them.
The question, even with municipal water supplies is, how many people have bathed in this water before I got to drink it?
EMC has anumber of revenue modalities, but Own and Operate is gonna be a big one.
How compelling will it be for a municipality to say sure, you can build it and process our dirty water as long as it is at no cost to us? The EMC process will take a resource that has no value to the municipality and convert it to a great value added product of immediate use to agriculture - at the very least. The tech is well developed and they have done their sums. And when EBR is fully developed excess electricity will become a second income stream.
Those are a couple of reasons why holders are upbeat about this stock.
