I have been watching this stock for a little while to see how it comes back online.
I really like the story and will look to buy in - its hard to go wrong with the stories where there is huge sunk cost from a major and for whatever reason they choose to pull out.
I have benefitted handsomely with Polymetals (POL) who bought the Endeavour mine off Toho when they decided to divest their mining interests. They are bringing that mine into production, with commissioning going on as we speak. I would love to be able to recreate that story for myself and Broken Hill Mines looks like a repeat of that story. As far as developer's go, it seems to be a fairly low risk to the downside, but massive potential to the upside with exploration potential, early cashflow and long mine life potential.
I need to delve a little further into the rest of the board, but Patrick Walter seems to be a fairly experienced in taking unloved assets back to life.
All this without mentioning the macro story for silver!
