NAB only has one call/shot on the ARA and this was their chance.
It is the earliest shot at it as well given they could only do it at 1st March 2025.
NAB were probably weighing up delaying they call or not but this conservative move has locked in VWAP $4.50 and who knows when IFL may higher TO or TO will proceed and their option would be worthless.
Now this is out of the way the bidders don't have a variable liability based on TO price anymore associated with $200M loan.
