I can understand the confusion, but the below quote from the announcement does seem to indicate a platform.
"For the first time, the Company has now developed, built, and configured a method, device, and prototype operational system platform for lab-on-a-chip sensing of the electronic properties of biologically relevant fluid samples (Image 1). This is a major milestone towards commercialisation of Archer’s biochip technology."
In any case, this is an exciting announcement ! Previously the announcements concentrated on just the chip architecture and now a platform system has been designed and fabricated to test the design changes and accelerate development.
"Archer will focus on building advanced and sophisticated versions of this system which could be used in commercial or applied research settings."
None of what Archer is doing is easy work when it comes to the 12cq and Bio Chip development, I understand the complexity of what they are doing and they are certainly working at the very edge of existing technology to bring these technologies closer to commercialisation and Mohammad is leading an amazingly talented team there at Archer that we as shareholders should all be proud of. Great work team Archer !!!
