Agree. Tough day.
Been in this one for a while and am heavily in the red. But while I'm disappointed I'm not sure if I feel quite the same way and will be holding. This was always a high-risk high-reward play and was going to take time.
My 2 cents on the results are:
- They tested a huge area and have a logical next step for more drilling.
- The historical hits were at East Pogo were at the 147m and 220m mark so it was a reasonable plan to test a lot of shallow targets rather than risking it all on a couple of deeper holes.
- Now if they do bring in a diamond rig they'll be in the right zone.
- From Duncan's comments they aren't sitting around waiting. So there'll be more to come.
And then there's always the copper story...
