Just amazed that they have these great csmat vtem surveys geophysics etc showing deep a anomaly, which we rank as our number one prospect and then we drill 12 holes across an area that go nowhere near the depth required.
From this (waste of money) we get no result except for a couple of pathfinder elements in one hole (which is kind of encouraging) but we then draw the conclusion that the gold must be deep in the anomaly in a patch where we drilled this one partial hole....wtf.
Make no mistake I want them to find gold in this spot and I want them to drill this anomaly deep with whatever they have left (even okay to CR if they need an extra 1mil go raise it now to complete this seasons drilling) and prove their is something there.
The bit I don't get is why will drilled 12 holes to fa depth across a wide area to then draw the conclusion the anomaly is where the csmat shows it is. I would have preferred rc drilling 2 holes if we had to (1 where we did and the other in the gap between the two proposed diamond holes) to prove the pathfinder elements and see if there was any gold, but to be followed then 2-3 diamond holes deep into the middle of the anomaly.
To me if the company believes this was our number 1 target we have to go for it, deep 2-3 holes now and either we have something to work with next season which we can raise against or we don't and 64 north is bust unless you can turn a roadway into fort knox
Then we get cracking on the copper in NT before the wet season is back.
