I've been watching FND for awhile ... it's tough to take a position when there seems so many children at the top. The takeover process looks now to have deteriorated to a game of calculators at 30 paces and on the count of 3, press enter!

I have read the announcement and think the short version is that Eastern Field thinks that there has been an addition (101906 - 92914) ~ 9,000 t of Cu stacked. This conclusion is interesting but might just be inaccurate because:
1. The stacking grade assumptions/measurements were wrong ... I only need to be about 0.2% wrong which I think can easily get lost in averages;
2. The "each month in a quarter is a constant volume assumption" is wrong. IMO, a few days here and a few days there would make some difference;
3. The assumptions underpinning resource and reserve announcements June and December have changed ever so slighlty. Of course any sequel reserve / resource estimate will take into account actual results as opposed to previous calculations;
4. There is an error in either shape or efficiency assumptions underpining leach curves ...
5. Error in stack compositions;
6. Error in inventory calculations.
After all this, you have to rub your chin and say, "what could possibly be wrong with Eastern Fields conclusions".

But let's assume they are correct and there was indeed 101,906 t Cu stacked. Doesn't that mean that there is another 9,000 tonnes odd stacked @ US$6900/t (US$62.1M) ready to be recovered ... o how I wish!
