But costic and company will defend them... At least nine people have been killed and more than 20 wounded when a suicide bomber blew up a minibus outside an Iraqi police station at Mahawil, south of Baghdad.
An Interior Ministry spokesman said gunmen drove up to the police station and opened fire at officers outside the building.
The policemen returned fire and the assailants fled.
"Five minutes later, a small minibus came directly up to the police station. The policemen tried to stop it, but it exploded," said the source, who did not wish to be named.
"There was a suicide bomber in the minibus," he added.
