Very early days at the Eastern Mafic.

The system is huge, greater than 5km. Before the last announcement I was thinking an EM trend this large must be a banded iron or black shales sedimentary unit. Fortunately this idea was totally de-risked by the last announcement with primary sulphides being intercepted.

The feeder structure ML15-ML14-ML8 looks really interesting (equally with the main trend around MZ12). There was very limited ML EM completed there previously. Drill results were strong, including pentlandite. Lots of ground untested along strike and at depth.

Remember that the best parts of Nova are around 300-350 metres depth, the orebody was a lot thinner closer to surface. The first phase of drilling by GBR was to confirm the geological nature of the anomalies and spatial accuracy of the EM plate models. Things will get interesting when they start drilling deeper holes!
