Looks like Thorney Group wants to improve the Corporate Governance issue. Current shareholders should be happy to see this as it will only improve Terracom financials.
As long as the coal price remains high the debt will be significantly reduced in the next 12 months.
The SA mines are more problematic and I can’t see any quick fixes to improve the situation there. The rail infrastructure is in very poor condition due to corruption and ineptness. Also a big hurdle which can’t be side stepped is that UNC is the minority share holder and at the mercy of their BEE partners.
