I believe i learn something new every day Stezza. I honestly thought that once the Company had submitted the final module to the FDA there would be an immediate jump in the share price and it would stay at a higher plateau - after all, the testing which the WISE device had been through over the past 6 months thereabouts was a period of uncertainty:
- would the battery/transmitter leakage issue remain?;
- would the rigours of the sustained testing bring up any new issue requiring further design changes etc?
So we've got the tick of approval by the independent testing group, and for part of a trading session the share price was up. And then it started wobbling towards lows that it hadn't been at for quite a while.
Is it perhaps because the FDA still must give a tick of approval to the modules submitted that they are sufficiently covered to instigate a full review, at which time the Company will confirm to the market that the FDA has accepted the submission and will commence its in depth review? Possibly, although many probably won't agree with that view.
Is it because some have argued that the Company requires another CR before commercialisation begins? Maybe, even though the Company has already stated that it has sufficient funds, subject to the FDA not taking forever, to give a tick of approval for the device to commence commercialisation. Maybe thats what the market is concerned about?
Or as you mention Stezza, is it simply too long a hold during a period of uncertainty for the general market? Possibly, but for those that don't hold many shares and would like to accumulate a larger position then this ~ 6 month lull provides an excellent opportunity to build a larger position.
Of course there's still risk - who knows what the market will do in the next few weeks let alone the next 6 months. But having bought in much earlier, I will continue to hold, and i will slowly add a few more every now and then. I have added more in the past couple of days.
IMO i believe the rewards for this Company remain, and the risks have reduced somewhat. Each to their own of course.
