As you say the technology seems impressive and if it works it's possibly the next Cochlear, but lets face it, it's a long road and like any bio/med tech it's speculative until whatever it is they're developing is proven, approved, competitive, being used and making regular profits. Accordingly, that could take years, looks like there's confidence out there though to put that sort of moolah their way. If it takes off, great, if not, then such is life in the bio/med tech world.
