It's a great announcement, and shows there is a lot more happening in the background than what ppl realise. The US team are not just there for show, they are actually driving this.
IMO - anticipation of revenue/scale/profit is enough to get the share price moving now. Confirmation will see a higher share price move up to the next level, as well as other milestones being met (eg: new product lines etc).
I agree with Dude, now seems ready to let her loose.
