I stumbled onto EIQ over the weekend. They look really interesting with a lot of long term upside from here. Looking to buy in shortly. My only reservation short term is the reimbursement strategy. Does anyone know if the company has ever commented on the application process and if they would be able to use existing CPT codes?
From my understanding, if EIQ need new codes for reimbursement then this could be a slow process before they can start making some decent revenue, even with the FDA approval. From start to finish could be 1-2 years according to this article. Admittedly I don’t know a lot about the medtech device process, so would be happy to hear some thoughts from the more knowledgeable on this subject.
