Now if you are suggesting that the central Australian , First Nations People , engaged in cooking ceos in a pot , then you are mistaken .
The First Nations people would eat what the land provided for them (the anangu up that ways ) Having lived in community for half a decade I am able to comment on this . For example malu was a highly desirable form of food , low in fat , high in protein. Now if you are a wadi and your spiritual animal is a malu or wardapi, then these are a no go.
Some anangu believe , that if you eat certain food s you take on their traits.
So if we had a “sika” wandering aimlessly through the central desert , community wouldn’t kill and eat him or her , fearing that they would take on his or her traits , (The anangu have historically had some shitty things happen to them and the last thing they would want is a side of sika and the immediate lowering of their iq to that of a rather slow rock)
