Within Lithium Valley, I can hope that we ultimately end up with a Battery Alley as well.

Interesting article in today (Tues) Age p3 that there is a fund called In-Q-Tel that has about $us400M of CIA/NSA/FBI/Homeland $'s to invest globally and they are scouting around in Aust (with Aust govt invitation), looking for startups and the like who are working in AI, strategic materials, VR, etc etc to put money into to help them on their way and guarantee US access to the technology.

reminds me of the old US DARPA funds which really did the base work for the internet in the 1970's and then the development of 'Keyhole Earth Viewer' --> Google Earth in about 2003 with US defence $'s

Who knows what comes along if they see potential technology that they dont want to see head north..
