You can't beat them. They have strategies and multiple accounts to manage their positions either way. Shorts burning are a rarity these days as a result.
Patience. More key news flow and reduced short position in time will eventually make for a balanced trading and fair value to ARU.
Opposed to what someone posted late last week - understanding shorts is very important for many reasons.
They will wind down then they'll have another crack post FID on Nolan's delivery on time and budget challenges.
None of which matters - current or future if one is holding long.
Beijing may do us a huge favour anytime with response to US tariffs. Current RE prices drop since that announcement is interesting.
