Other large investors buying in for the long haul.
Example, Australian Super recently announced they want to invest in Rare Earths. If they hypothetically announced investment in ARU, then that could combat shorts.
Also, as we approach closer to FID, construction milestones are met then the SP will rise accordingly.
Shorts can control the price short term, but eventually with enough positive announcements even they’ll be caught in the wind.
The remaining 32% of funding required for FID will be much easier to acquire than the first 68%. From a new investors pov, the investment is now more de-risked as we inch closer to 100%.
Almost there. They can’t hold it down forever.
