I cant see how the application relates to all carbon type additives for concrete. It looks like a specific method that EDE uses to add and disperse the carbon fibres into the mix will be patented. Nothing new apart from an application by EDE to protect its IP. I understand that Monash already had patents and EDE had the exclusive use. I suggest a deal with Monash is also involved.

A step in the right direction. Sales are still the major requirement along with an announcement that the plant is operational. That is the announcement that I want to see. No good having a patent if there is no production or sales.
