This is an image from this year on the West Virginia Development Office website. On there you can clearly see those are the chopped up trees, probably being recycled for mulch. Just where the trees start are the power lines.
This land is part of their State welfare package. If it brings jobs, they'll bend over backwards to make it happen. Because that's how state welfare works, not spending millions on a product from a little Aussie company in another state for work already being done.

Thank you for that frank admission. Now we can all stop pretending that Georgia and Colorado buy Edencrete for it's supposed benefits. [Coincidentally the 48 states that do not have EDE facilities buy exactly zero Edencrete.]

BTW going to an impoverished rural area and seeking subsides to build data centres is exactly the same failed plain that SPI tried in Norway and Finland.
