Methane pyrolysis is, neatly;
CH4 → C + 2 H2

Just because you have studied hard over the last couple of days into the process does not change that you are still wrong, it makes you even more wrong. If you really meant the micro-second During the methane pyrolysis, then that would make the monoatomic hydrogen an...wait for it... element, just like the C.
