Because it’s bs, imho.
The tone in the SPP letter was one of annoyance, imho.
Shareholders didn’t pony up in the last CR (RI) and it was undersubscribed which has lead to this SPP. So I think it’s most unlikely that GS is doing any retail holders a favour now.
Most likely, imho, EDE are still unable to attract interest from industry and institutions and in light of the deteriorating cash position and economy, have had no choice than to raise immediately and give it a pump for good measure.
