IMO CDOT and GDOT are trialling Edencrete in the hope of generating private sector interest and some job creation. However the big companies that have tested Edencrete have never placed a second order. Real world testing seems to trump marketing hype.
My reading of the recent technical literature indicates that the early CNT research was greatly over-hyped. It now seems that the benefits of CNT applied mainly during the curing process (<28 days) and only at relatively high rates.The long term benefits seem to be (far) less impressive. The supposed cost benefits appear to be totally non-existent for the vast majority of cases.
