It should, but it doesn't.
If u want to invest in edencrete, u should invest in EDE.
TAS does other things as well and could sell or do anything with there shares in EDE.
Not saying they will, but its a kind of sovereignty thing. Like a mine in a foreign country that has unstable politics. It cannot be guaranteed that another factor comes into play outside of EDE that affects the decision to hold onto the EDE shares. The solomons own both companies. This is unlikely.
Anyway plenty here are invested in TAS. And the TAS SP should be alot higher. Maybe it will be once EDE is properly de-risked. Once dividends are paid and hit the TAS cashflow, the TAS SP will really start to reflect the value of EDE.
I dont have shares in TAS but before actual dividends start to be paid, it would be good to pick some up.
I dont think EDE will pay dividends for a couple of years yet. When they look like getting into the ASX100, that's when they will pretty much have to start paying dividends.
