In this case the milkman already owns 49.6% of the cow. Furthermore he has a stated commitment to ensuring the cow gets everything it needs to be healthy and successful, and only after that would any spare cash be used to fund other ventures. Finally, shares in the milkman trade at a 50% discount to the cow.
No contest really. The milkman is much better value. Eventually the market will realise that TAS is a holding company for EDE, and TAS will be rerated, assuming TAS doesn't decide to take over EDE.
